Don’t use this aimlessly, without a purpose. This API reference is designed for navigating code once you’ve found a starting point.
Probably the worst way to use this site, as currently implemented (June 2014), is through the archive pages.
For example, if you choose to list the “files” using http://oik-plugins.eu/codex/oik_file the first page of 10 files will show you the 10 most recently added files. ie. The ones that were parsed last. Not particularly helpful… however, we have enabled JetPack’s infinite scroll to help you a bit.
It would also be a bad idea to view the core plugin and hope to see a list of all the APIs, classes, hooks and files for it. There are just too many to comprehend. Also the page will take an age to load.
So, for WordPress core at least, we have used the
orderby=random parameters to limit the display of the files, APIs, classes and hooks.
