The Frequently Asked Questions are in the root site ( wp-a2z.org ). Other sites create links to the FAQ using MultiSite capability.
To determine the total count of published FAQs we use wp_count_posts(). This requires the post type to be registered on each site that is referencing the total number of posts. Is this a bug? Perhaps. But at least it has a workaround.
